Isaiah 52:7, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace…” Jesus Christ, is the ultimate publisher of peace. I think of the time he spent on Golgotha, and the horror his body and feet underwent as he was nailed to the cross. It's a wonderful paradox, that in this terrible act of violence Christ provided the way for us to receive eternal peace.
